Nestling under the southern edge of Bowmont Forest, Tiore enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views over the fields to the south and the border where England joins Scotland about 25 miles away in the distance. Peaceful seclusion, space and time to relax are our gifts to you.

Tiore, situated on the private Bowmont Forest roadway, consists of two semi-detached cottages. One is for our guests and the other is our home. Should you need our assistance we are therefore close by.

In the forest many pathways can be explored either walking or cycling. Go up through to the far side and the view opens to reveal the Cheviot Range. If you are quiet and the breeze is towards you, deer can often be seen (especially early morning or towards dusk) as well as red squirrel and barn owls. Wild birds love ‘Tiore’ gardens and we love feeding them. And you may enjoy watching our chickens, even help to feed them or collect the eggs.

We are four miles south of the pretty historic market town of Kelso. The town has its own individual character with many unique quality shops.  Visit Floors Castle and grounds, the largest lived in castle in Scotland and home to the Duke of Roxburghe. In and around Kelso there are many interesting places to visit and numerous events throughout the year.

Our warm welcome is waiting.  Come and share the peace of our very special haven and we will endeavour to make your stay a truly memorable one.
