It’s said you will find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.  Well, we didn’t find gold but we found everything else that has made this a perfect, relaxing break for us.  Christine and Peter were extremely helpful but never intrusive, they were always there with a smile and helping hand.  I’m sure everyone who stays at Tiore after us will feel exactly the same.  Very interesting part of the courtry that we hadn’t visited before.  We enjoyed superb meals at the ‘Caddyman Restaurant’ outside Jedburgh and the Red Lion Inn at Milfield.  To Christine and Peter we offer our grateful thanks and wish you every success in the future, God Bless

Cheviot 2-cropBeautiful cottage, quiet location, views exceptional, lovely eggs and cake (thank you Peter and Christine).  ‘Contented Vine’ in Kelso very good food (closed Weds) also ‘Wagon Inn’ Kelso very good pub grub.  Day out Melrose ‘Timontium Walk’ to Roman Settlement is excellent, very good guides – 4hrs walk cost £3 incl cup tea and biscs at the Roman Museum – well worth it.  We will definately be back to the cottage. We have had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful cottage.  Thank you very much Peter and Christine for all the extra touches.  The welcome hamper was delicious and Bryony has been very well catered for.  She enjoyed reading the children’s books, playing in the garden (and sitting in her own seat!) and feeding the chickens.  The cottage is cosy, comfortable and immaculate.  There is also lots to explore int he surrounding area.  We can’t wait to come back again. A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings.  Tiore far exceeded our expectations.  Christine and Peter have gone the extra mile to make Tiore welcoming and comfortable.  We have felt very much at home.  We have also been very impressed with how child friendly Tiore is.  Ella has been catered for exceptionally well and she has had a greata time.  It has been good to be able to relax and not worry about Ella’s safety in the cottage.  Tiore really is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
